Mr. Michael Carleton, a CIO certificate recipient in 1993 (AMP 6!) and member of the National Defense University Hall of Fame, received the Association of the IRM College Distinguished Alumni Award at the IRMC graduation ceremony on 13 April 2007.

The second annual AIRMC luncheon was held at the Fort McNair's Officers' Club. Members and guests representing many agencies and the private sector were in attendance to socialize, enjoy a great lunch, and listen to our distinguished guest speaker, Mr. Zal Azmi, CIO, FBI. Mr. Bill Piatt, IRMC Distinguished Graduate, 1000 by 2000, and CIO certificate recipient in 1998, received the first Association of the IRM College Distinguished Alumni Award at the IRMC graduation ceremony on 7 April 2006.

The inaugural event for the Association of the IRM College was held at the Fort McNair Officers' Club on Wednesday, 17 May 2006. It was attended by over 80 AIRMC members and guests who got a chance to meet old and new friends, enjoy a great dinner, an historic venue, and listen to the vision and challenges of the ASD/NII and DoD CIO.
